Estella to Los Arcos

This 21.5 km stage through Navarra's wine country delivers the finest vineyard scenery on the entire French Way, anchored by the iconic Irache wine fountain where pilgrims can sample free wine. With over 90% of the path on quiet dirt tracks, it's a peaceful alternative to the busier sections. The fountain dispenses about 100 liters of red wine daily, a tradition dating to 1991. Compared to the shorter Monte do Gozo to Santiago stage, this walk demands more endurance but rewards with a genuine rural experience and medieval villages like Villamayor de Monjardín.
