Qube Money
Card won't swipe unless you open an envelope first. $8/month.
Qube takes the envelope budgeting concept further than anyone else: it gives you a physical debit card that won't work unless you open a "qube" (digital envelope) first. Want to buy groceries? Open the Groceries qube on your phone, allocate funds, then swipe. If the qube is empty or closed, the card declines. It's forced intentionality — every purchase requires a conscious decision about which budget category it comes from. Plans start at $8/month for individuals. That's $4 cheaper per month than the average envelope-based app. It's extreme, but overspenders swear by it.
