Blackburn Rovers' 1994–95 title run remains the last non-elite club triumph until Leicester in 2016, proving money alone cannot buy sustained success. Alan Shearer led the league with 34 goals, the fifth highest single-season total in Premier League history, and the team edged Manchester United by just one point on the final day. The squad, funded by Jack Walker's fortune, also included Chris Sutton (15 goals), Tim Sherwood, and Colin Hendry.
