SHEIN is the platform people shop on and then feel a little sheepish about. Turning out thousands of new styles a day, powered by AI trend-spotting fast enough to have a garment on sale within days of a trend appearing, it has effectively out-fast-fashioned fast fashion — and undercut many competitors' prices doing it. The scrutiny over labour practices and environmental cost is real and deserved, and if that matters to you, it should be a dealbreaker. If price and speed are all you're optimizing for, nothing else here gets close.
