Okonomiyaki

Okonomiyaki is a savory pancake packed with cabbage, meat, seafood, and batter, then topped with mayo and bonito flakes—literally meaning "cooked as you like." Osaka's style, mixing ingredients into the batter, is crispier than the typical rival from Hiroshima, where layers are stacked; both use about 200 grams of cabbage per serving. This dish is faster to prepare than Tonkatsu, requiring only 15 minutes from start to finish.
