Arc'teryx
The British Columbia brand's Gore-Tex shells and 'dead bird' logo (a nod to the Archaeopteryx fossil the brand is named for) have transcended mountaineering to become the unofficial uniform of tech workers and fashion insiders who want performance credentials with their urban outfits. It's one of the clearest examples of 'gorpcore' — technical outdoor gear worn as everyday fashion — moving from niche trend to mainstream wardrobe staple over the past several years.
