Deep Water Bay Beach

Deep Water Bay is a compact, sheltered beach on Hong Kong Island popular with families for its calm, clear water, shark nets, and good changing facilities. The adjacent Deep Water Bay Picnic Area with barbecue pits makes it ideal for a combined beach-barbecue outing. At only 200 meters of sand, it is 80% smaller than Repulse Bay Beach but typically 40% less crowded. Accessible by Bus 6, 6X, 64, or 260 from Central.
