Talampaya National Park

Talampaya National Park features towering red sandstone cliffs rising up to 145 meters, carved by wind and water over 250 million years, revealing one of the world’s richest Triassic fossil beds. Its dramatic canyon stretches 12 kilometers, and guided tours cover less than 10% of the park’s 2,150 square kilometers. This geological wonder, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000, offers a stark contrast to the lush landscapes of Los Alerces.
