Delicious in Dungeon

Delicious in Dungeon shouldn't work as a premise — an adventuring party that cooks and eats the monsters it fights — and that's exactly why it does: it's a fantasy adventure, a cooking show, and a quiet meditation on ecology all running at once, and Trigger's Netflix adaptation landed a 100% Rotten Tomatoes critic score doing it. The manga's sales jumped from 10 million to 14 million copies in six months, pulled along by food and culture writers who don't normally cover manga at all. Trigger's animators clearly took the cooking as seriously as the fighting — the food sequences are some of the most genuinely appetizing animation in any medium, prestige food television included.
