PUBG Ally

PUBG Ally is Krafton's AI tactical teammate, built with NVIDIA ACE technology and designed to run on-device on the player's NVIDIA GPU — including the RTX Spark platform Krafton has demoed it on in Seoul. Running locally avoids the round-trip latency of cloud inference, letting Ally respond to fast-moving combat situations without perceptible delay. NVIDIA has tied the underlying technology to its Mistral-NeMo-Minitron family of compact language models, built to run on consumer GPUs rather than in the cloud. What NVIDIA highlights as distinguishing PUBG Ally is long-term memory: the system is designed to retain context across play, "evolving its intelligence and capabilities" rather than resetting between rounds. In principle, that lets Ally tune its tactical suggestions to how a given player tends to operate, instead of applying a one-size-fits-all playbook. In practice, Ally is pitched as a tactical partner able to assist with navigation, spotting loot, and combat alongside the player. Krafton has said it wants the system to eventually serve its global PUBG player base, which spans many languages and regions. As of mid-2026, PUBG Ally remained unreleased in the live game — shown instead in hands-on demos, including PC bang showcases in Seoul with NVIDIA and T1. If it ships as demonstrated, the combination of persistent memory, on-device inference, and real-time tactical support would make it one of the more ambitious AI teammate projects in competitive gaming today.
