Bulbasaur

Bulbasaur holds a base stat total (BST) of 318, establishing itself as the original Grass/Poison-type starter from the Kanto region. This unique typing provides it with an advantage against Water and Electric-type Pokémon early in the game. With a base Special Attack of 65 and Special Defense of 65, Bulbasaur demonstrates respectable offensive and defensive capabilities for an initial stage Pokémon. Its eventual evolution into Venusaur, a powerful Pokémon known for its bulk and status-inducing abilities, underscores Bulbasaur's long-term potential. The primary trade-off for Bulbasaur is its vulnerability to Fire, Ice, Flying, and Psychic-type attacks due to its dual typing.
