Sandshrew
Its Ground typing provides crucial immunity to Electric moves, but its 30 Speed is 40% slower than Charmander's 65 Speed. Sandshrew's 85 Defense is also 30% higher than Squirtle's 65, making it a physical wall. Despite these strengths, its low Speed and 50 HP limit its overall versatility compared to the Kanto starters.
