This blistering pace allows Rattata to land first hits with Hyper Fang (80 base power) and a 10% flinch chance, punishing slower foes. Its 56 Attack and 30 HP make it a glass cannon—while it hits harder than Pidgey’s 45 Attack, it faints to two strong hits. Rattata also learns Dig via TM, giving it coverage against Electric-types that plague Pidgey.
