Self-propagating malware poisons open source software and wipes Iran-based machines

A self-propagating malware is poisoning open-source software and wiping machines in Iran, marking a new phase in cyberwarfare and supply chain attacks. The malware autonomously infects 90% of vulnerable packages within 24 hours, leveraging zero-day exploits to erase data on over 1,200 systems so far.
