Jim Clark

Clark won 25 Grands Prix and 2 titles, in 1963 and 1965, both with Lotus. Crash.net lists Niki Lauda level with him on 25 wins. James Clark, born 4 March 1936 in Kilmany, Fife, raced for Lotus from 1960 to 1968. Wikipedia lists 73 entries, 72 starts, 2 titles, 25 wins, 32 podiums, 33 poles and 28 fastest laps. His first win was the 1962 Belgian Grand Prix and his last the 1968 South African Grand Prix. At his death, in a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim on 7 April 1968, he held the records for most wins, poles and fastest laps. He won the Indianapolis 500 in 1965 and is the only driver to have won that race and the F1 title in the same year, the same page says. Crash.net places him at the 25-win mark with Lauda, whose most recent win on that table is the 1985 Dutch Grand Prix. Clark is listed here because that table names him first at the tie.
