MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is an American YouTube personality renowned for his elaborate stunts and philanthropic endeavors. His channel, which launched in 2012, became the most-subscribed channel on the platform in June 2024, surpassing T-Series. He became the first individual creator to reach 500 million subscribers on June 12, 2026. MrBeast is particularly known for his 'expensive' video stunts, which often involve giving away large sums of money or valuable prizes, such as his November 2021 recreation of 'Squid Game,' which featured a $456,000 prize for the winner. His content frequently combines entertainment with acts of charity, such as planting 20 million trees as part of the #TeamTrees initiative. While his videos are incredibly popular and impactful, the immense production costs and logistics involved present a constant challenge.
